What information do we collect?

The web servers that host Connect Therapy™ web sites automatically identify your computer by the IP address assigned to it and logs your IP address as a security measure.

Connect Therapy will not use your IP address for marketing purposes. We may use it to help diagnose problems with our servers and to administer our web site.

We do not ordinarily associate an individual’s IP address to his/her personal information. We will have a record of your visit to our site, but your identity generally remains anonymous to us. We match IP addresses to the identity of users of our site when we feel it necessary in order to protect our site and/or other users.

What do we do with the information we collect?

We use the information we collect about you:

  • to evaluate and administer our web sites;
  • to gauge user trends to determine which pages visitors are viewing and utilizing;
  • to respond to any problems that may arise;
  • to notify customers about updates to our web sites;

If you choose to subscribe to one of our newsletters or mailing lists, we will only use your email address for that purpose. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Connect Therapy will make every reasonable effort to keep information secure, and will not disclose that information beyond Connect Therapy other than to fulfil our business obligations to the user. For example, if the user has placed an order, Connect Therapy may supply address details to third parties assisting in the transaction. Similarly, Connect Therapy uses return email addresses to answer emails we receive. We also use such addresses for future marketing of Connect Therapy’s products and services, but they are not shared with third parties.

We may extend offers to users on behalf of our partners about a particular product or service that may be of interest to you, but we will never give out your personal information at any time without your permission. Although we may receive a fee from our partners for this service, Connect Therapy facilitates the sending of all such offers so that your personal information is never shared with any outside third party.

Third-Party Relationships

Our web site is hosted on an outsourced web server that may change, as needed, without notice to our site visitors. Connect Therapy has access to the site’s traffic statistics and may use those statistics to analyze their customers’ disk usage and site traffic.

Connect Therapy also engages third parties such as Paypal.com and AWeber.com to facilitate payment processing and newsletter distribution. Your personal information is only shared with such services for the purposes of fulfilling an order or communicating with you about an order. Connect Therapy will never sell or rent your email address or personal information to any third party.

Connect Therapy does not share site visitor information with third parties other than with those we are required to share such information for the purposes of processing orders as outlined above.

Affiliated Sites, Linked Sites and Advertisements

Connect Therapy web sites may contain links to other sites that we feel provide helpful, relevant and trustworthy information. Despite our review, such web sites and their content are constantly changing. Connect Therapy is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such web sites. Similarly, we are not responsible for the actions or policies of such third parties.

From time to time we may give you the opportunity to opt-in to offers from third parties not affiliated with Connect Therapy. As such they may have their own privacy policies and practices. If you decide to accept offers from third parties, we will provide, with your consent, your information to the third party. However, Connect Therapy’s privacy policy does not apply to information that users consent to give to third parties not affiliated with Connect Therapy. Any information that users give to another party is governed by that party’s privacy policy. Please review third parties’ policies prior to providing them with any information.

Children’s Privacy

Connect Therapy is concerned about protecting the safety of children using the Internet. We do not sell products for purchase by children, but we do sell children’s products for purchase by adults. We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have personal information on a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information from our systems.

Public Forums

Our web sites may provide chat rooms, forums, message boards, and/or news groups to its users. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information.

Connect Therapy is also not responsible for any content (including anything deemed to be objectionable or socially inappropriate) submitted by users participating in our forums, chat rooms, message boards, and/or news groups.

Changes in Corporate Structure

In developing our business, we might sell certain assets or the company, or parts of it, may be sold, merged or otherwise transferred.
